Selena is a stay at home mom turned Fitness Professional.  After studying Accounting and working in an office and realizing that wasn’t her calling, she decided to put things on hold and stay home and raise her 3 children.

During her own daily routine of going to the gym and attending classes trying to lose her post pregnancy weight and struggling with very little guidance, she decided to attain a Personal training certification and learn more about nutrition so she could share her story and become a role model for other moms. Soon after, she made the decision to turn fitness into a career and continued on to become certified as a Group Ex Instructor in Les Mills , Piyo, Schwinn Cycling, TRX, and Circiuit training.  

Currently, Selena teaches full time in Manhattan and NJ and large and small studios.  Her energy and passion shine through in every aspect of her teaching.

As a woman over 40, her passion for a healthy lifestyle drives me more now than ever, and she’s focused on giving 110% to her classes and clients.

Fitness Idol:  Chalene Johnson (Creator of Piyo), also an over age 40 mom , Fitness Expert and entrepreneur . She amazes me through her podcasts on how she manages her work and family life.

 What I love about teaching: I love that I can help a group of people get closer to their individual fitness goals . Its so rewarding when people get excited to tell they feel stronger lost weight , or have overcome an injury . I know that I’m doing exactly what I’m suppose to be!

Favorite Food: Love eating healthy because it makes me feel good but you can give me French fries any day !
